Community Outreach

Community Outreach Through the resources God has abundantly provided, the Blessed Hope building is open to reach out to meet community needs seven days a week.

Since 2006, our members, along with the members of 15 other churches, organizations and private groups, have served those in need of a meal. Meals are provided at noon and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; and Sunday, dinner is served at 4:00 PM.

A food pantry, open three days per week, provides emergency food to anyone needing help. All that is required is a photo identification card of some type at the first visit. No cash support of any kind is available, but resource information is made available to access the other places that do offer help of that kind. Food pantry hours are Monday and Thursday¸ 1:00 - 4:00 PM; and 10 AM to 4:00 PM on Fridays. The church is closed Saturdays.

The Community Meeting Room is home to AA meetings at 8:30 AM, Monday through Saturday. CASA meets Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. CASA\'s purpose is to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space for compassion, understanding and recovery from "addictive-compulsive" dishonest behavior, primarily shoplifting, fraud, kleptomania and embezzlement.

Sometimes it is necessary for individuals to work community service hours to meet court-ordered requirements. It is a great blessing to have those volunteers among others. Contact us for more information.
